Hi, I’m Michael Struwig.

I’m an E&E Engineer by training. I completed by PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Stellenbosch University in 2022 (graduated 2023).

I have previously worked as a data scientist, machine learning consultant and team lead at Praelexis, a senior backend engineer at Primer, and the CEO of Hudson & Thames. I am currently the Head of AI at OpenBB 🦋.

I love writing beautiful clean software, and working at the intersection of data science, product development, and ML/AI (particularly LLMs).

I also enjoy giving technical presentations and talks on various topics.
