Hi, I’m Michael Struwig.

I’m an E&E Engineer by training, and completed by PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Stellenbosch University in 2022.

I’ve previously worked as a data scientist, machine learning consultant and team lead at Praelexis, a senior backend engineer at Primer, the CEO of Hudson & Thames, and am currently working as Head of AI at OpenBB 🦋.

Professionally, I love writing beautiful clean software, and working in the realm of data science, machine learning and AI (particularly Large Language Models, or LLMs). I also enjoy giving technical presentations and talks on various topics.
